South Sudan
The Drugs and Food Control Authority of South Sudan has enacted a compulsory regulatory framework to ensure the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products. Effective December 15, 2024, all covered shipments must undergo document verification, physical inspection, laboratory testing, and issuance of a Clean Report of Inspection and Analysis.
Key Requirements
- All pharmaceutical consignments must undergo pre-shipment inspection and testing by CTRS.
- Importers must present a valid CRIA for customs clearance at South Sudanese ports.
- Non-conforming shipments may be denied entry, quarantined, or seized.
