Trusted Medical Laboratory Certification
Center for Testing and Research services is an independent certification company that provides pre-shipment verification services for governments, international institutions, and partners. We offer services of document verification, physical inspection, and quality testing to check the conformity of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, medical devices, and food.
We provide the Certificate of Conformity which is a document that is mandatory for customs clearance in the importing country. CTRS’s conformity assessment process is a solution designed to prevent the importation of substandard and counterfeit medicines and ensure that specific products meet the requirements of the regulations and standards set by a regulatory authority in the importing country.
We extend our services to support governments in implementing pre-shipment inspection and testing at the country of origin in order to protect the citizens of their country by ensuring that safe and good quality medicines are imported into the country.
Announcements
Partnership with Somalia: Effective January 10, 2025, CTRS will extend its capabilities to Somalia, where the Ministry of Health & Human Services has introduced new regulations for all health-related imports, including medicines, medical devices, biologics, herbal remedies, cosmetics, and food supplements. In close collaboration with the Somalia Interim National Medicines Regulatory Authority (SINMRA), CTRS will conduct comprehensive pre-shipment testing to ensure all products meet stringent quality benchmarks before reaching Somali markets. Products that pass these inspections will be granted a Clean Report Inspection & Analysis (CRIA) report, a mandatory certification required for customs clearance. This effort aims to restore trust in healthcare products, eliminate counterfeit and substandard items, and support Somalia’s long-term healthcare objectives.
